The following are additional considerations regarding ARHealthNetworks
eligibility:
Spouses are eligible for coverage at the same cost as the employee; spouses are not required to enroll.
Employees that do not reside in Arkansas or those that are not U.S. Citizens may enroll at the $255 monthly cost, but are not required to enroll.
Employers must commit to enroll all eligible new hires after at least a 90 day waiting period.
100% of the full-time employees that qualify for the $25 monthly cost must participate unless they provide evidence of other group or individual health coverage.
50% of the full-time employees that qualify for the $255 monthly cost must participate unless they provide evidence of other group or individual health coverage.
All employees enrolled in the plan are entitled to receive immediate benefits with no waiting period upon the effective date of the group, usually the first of the month after the member receives their ARHealthNetworks ID cards. Benefits will be available to everyone in the group regardless of any pre-existing medical conditions.
